What is your turnaround time?
For portrait sessions, my average turnaround time is 10-14 days, but that may change based on the season. If you’re in a time crunch, be sure to let me know in advance so we can schedule accordingly.
Where do you shoot?
Mini-sessions come about a couple times a year with predetermined locations, but for custom portraits, I work with each client individually to find the perfect place. Carteret County and surrounding areas have so much to offer: beach backdrops, lush greenery, and stunning historic districts.
What's the best time of day to schedule our session?
95% of my outdoor sessions are taken in the late afternoon or evening, the hour leading up to sunset. We call it “golden hour” for good reason. Sunrise sessions are also a unique option, if you’re an early riser. There is something so peaceful about a sunrise session on the beach. It creates the ideal environment to capture beautiful moments with your loved ones.
Will I be able to share my photos online without a watermark?
Of course! It is the ultimate form of flattery. I ask that you please credit my images when posting. Most of my business comes from word of mouth. Your referrals make my day.
Can I bring my fur baby to the shoot?
Please do! SKP is a pet friendly operation. Be sure to stash a handful of treats in your pocket. It works wonders for getting them to sit pretty for the camera.
